Dear NSCA Member,
Annual dues for 2007 are payable upon receipt of this letter and must be received prior to January 31, 2007 to avoid a late penalty of one year’s single membership. Memberships that are not paid by March 1, 2007 must reapply.
Per the NSCA Constitution and by-laws there are 6 classes of membership:
Single membership is $30.00. Open to all persons over age 18. Shall be entitled to all privileges & benefits of the club. Including the right to vote & hold office.
Family membership is $45.00. Open to 2 adults over age 18, living at the same residence. Both members shall be entitled to all privileges & benefits of the club. Including the right to vote & hold office.
Lifetime membership is open to any person who has been a regular member for 30 years. A Lifetime member has the full privileges of a regular member but does not need to pay dues.
Member Club membership is $30.00. Open to all Shiba Inu clubs that meets requirements as indicated in the Constitution. May not hold office or serve on committees, but are entitled to 1 vote.
Associate membership is $25.00. Entitle individuals to all privileges of the Club, excluding the right to vote, hold office, participate in BDEP & sponsor new members and/or chair committees.
Members residing outside of the U.S. shall be eligible only for associate membership. CanadaMexico memberships are $35.00. Other foreign memberships are $50.00.
Junior membership is $25.00. Open to all persons under the age of 18, who shall be entitled to all privileges & benefits of the club. Excluding the right to vote, hold office & participate in BDEP.
Below is Article I – Section 2 of NSCA Constitution and bylaws for membership dues.
Section 2. Dues: Membership dues shall set by the Board and will vary by class but shall not exceed $100.00 per year although the Board may set a surcharge for foreign members to cover the additional cost of international mailings. The dues shall be payable on or before the 1st day of January of each year. After 30 days, a penalty of an additional one-year’s single membership is required. After 60 days, individuals and household must re-apply. For applications accepted after June 1st, dues shall be 1/2 of the stated amounts. No member may vote whose dues are not paid for the current year. During the month of October, the Treasurer shall send to each member a statement of dues for the ensuing year.
As always, Shiba Rescue needs your financial support. SIRRA, Shiba Inu Rescue Resources of America, aid individual or organized rescuers when a Shiba being fostered needs more medical care than the normal and the costfor that care would not be recovered fromadoption fees.Shiba Rescue. Your donation is tax deductible and all donations of $20 or more will be acknowledged with a special thank you in an issue of the Shiba E-News.
