Dear H-E-B Partners:

Partners, get your passports ready! Junior Achievement needs you for this year’sH-E-B Around the World Bowl-A-Thon!Jump on board for a bowl-a-thon adventure as we raise funds to provide programs to nearly 95,000 local students.

H-E-B has a great opportunity to get involved with Junior Achievement and create a lasting impact on local youth. JA programs give students a hands-on opportunity to explore all facets of the work world. The lessons empower kids by teachingcareer skills, financial literacy and entrepreneurship, all while reinforcing the importance of staying in school.

H-E-Bwill be participating in the 2016Around the World Bowl-A-Thon on April 28-30, 2016 at University Bowl (located at I-10 & DeZavala, 12332 I-10, San Antonio, TX 78230).

Here’s how you can get involved:

I need JA Around the WorldTeam Managers and Bowlers.

Team Manager:

  • Recruit their four team members needed to complete a 5 person team.
  • Motivate and monitor their team’s progress towards achieving the financial goal.

Bowlers:

  • May be anyone age 18 or older who is willing to collect $55 and be a part of the 5 person team.
  • Can consist of co-workers, friends, or family members.

Donate

  • If you can’t make it this year help your co-workers reach their $55 goal.

In an effort to help fund Junior Achievement’s economic education programs, we ask that each member of the teamset their personal fundraising goal at $55($275 total for a 5 person bowling team). Included in this amount is a registration fee per bowler which covers lane fees for two games, shoe rental and an official JA Around the World Bowl-A-Thon t-shirt. All bowlers will also have access to JA’s online pledge website, making it an easier process for bowlers to fundraise online.
