Dear Friends of the Animals,

Desoto Animal Rescue Society (DARS) is a No-Kill, non-profit organization that rescues adoptable companion animals. DARS animals are cared for in homes by dedicated foster families until their new forever homes are found. All animals are healthy, current on vaccinations, on heartworm preventative, and spayed/neutered.

DARS is hosting our 12th annual Walk for Wags ‘N’ Whiskers family event at Olive Branch City Park on Saturday, October 8, 2016. All proceeds go directly to DARS to help feed, spay or neuter, and provide medical care to the hundreds of animals we care for each year. In addition to a two-mile walk around the park, Walk for Wags ‘N’ Whiskers will include canine contests, prizes, raffles, vendor booths, and complimentary food & drinks for our walkers, vendors, adoptable pets vand sponsors. Registration will begin at 10:00 a.m.

We are currently soliciting support to make this year’s Wag n’ Walk a huge success. DARS relies on the local community’s support to achieve our goals. We hope you will partner with us and show our supporters and the community that your company cares about the homeless and abused animals.

To advertise for the event, we will have flyers and posters with our sponsors’ logos at our adoption days and local area veterinarian clinics, in newspaper ads and on our website. And remember, your sponsorship or donation is tax deductible. The following forms will explain the different opportunities of sponsorship, donations, and vendors needed to help us make a difference in the lives of companion animals in Desoto County. We cannot do this without your help.

I would like to participate as a vendor for $25 donation. A 10’ X 10’ space will be provided and vendor must supply table, chairs, & canopy tent.

I would like to donate 100 promotional items (coupons, products, or advertising item) to the event goody bags given to all walkers. Items are due by September 30.

Vendor space is limited. Booths must be set up by 10:00 a.m. the morning of the event. Please return this form with payment no later than September 1, 2016.
