Dear Fletcher A. Gourley, Leonard Southwell, and Roger Capps Scholarship Applicant:

As tributes to Fletcher A. Gourley, the long-time Chief Executive Officer of Prairie Farms Dairy, and Leonard Southwell and Roger Capps, former CEOs and outstanding leaders for Prairie Farms Dairy, the Dairy's Board of Directors has established Scholarship Funds within the IAA Foundation to provide scholarships to students of patrons and employees.

These scholarships are awarded on the basis of exceptional scholastic ability and/or financial need. Six $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to children of current patrons and six $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to children of current employees. A Patron is defined as a producer who sells milk to Prairie Farms Dairy.

The IAA Foundation is proud to administer the Fletcher A. Gourley, Leonard Southwell, and Roger CappsMemorial Scholarships, and we look forward to your application.

ELIGIBILITY

1.Sons and/or daughters of Prairie Farms Dairy patrons as well as sons and/or daughters of employees of Prairie Farms Dairy and its subsidiaries (but not joint ventures) are eligible. A minimum of three years as a patron or employee is also required. The three year minimum is determined as of the application deadline date (February 1, 2010).

2.Must be accepted by or enrolled in an accredited community college, college, or university.

3.Must be a high school graduate or graduating in 2010.

4.Must exhibit potential for successful completion of course of study.

5.May have been a recipient of a previous IAA Foundation scholarship.

6.May not be a spouse, child, brother, sister, grandchild, son-in-law, or daughter-in-law of an IAA Foundation trustee or employee.

In addition to eligibility guidelines, the following will be considered in selecting recipients:

1.Scholarship

- Academic performance and honors

- Rank in class

- ACT score or SAT score

2.Financial need

3.Evidence of self-help (How the student is contributing financially to his/her education)

4.Character and personality

- Maturity

- Industriousness and motivation

- Intellectual interest

- Moral character

- Demonstrated leadership

IMPORTANT
You are responsible for including the following items with your application. If one or more documents are missing, your application may be disqualified. Transcripts and/or reference letters may be mailed separately, if necessary. High school transcripts are required for allapplicants, whether a high school senior or a college student. Graduate level students need only provide a complete college/university transcript.
