Dear Esteemed Colleague of Education,

I hope this correspondence finds you well. The coaching series that we are producing at Learning Sciences International, in concert with Pennsylvania Department of Education, is moving along quite well in its development. Therefore, it is time to solidify our network of professional journal writers. As a member of my professional network, I am aware of the quality of work you are capable of producing, thus prompting this invitation to become part of the writers’ network.

As a review, professional journal articles are usually 3-5 pages in length that have a balance of research and practitioner information. I have attached two examples that will give you an indication of the quality that must be produced. Also, I have attached a style guide that must be followed to the nth degree. As an independent contractor we will pay you $300 for each final product. This stipend includes all revisions requested to be made by you until it is labeled as “final” for production.

In order to give you enough lead time in writing, I have included the schedule for the entire series. I will be asking you for your availability for these times at the end of this correspondence. Because of your ever-changing schedules, there is no obligation on your part for times you put as available.
