Dear Engineering Team,
I am in the process of opening a new frozen yogurt store and need your assistance in making excellent decisions in order to become the best. I have researched existing local frozen yogurt stores and their data including cost, number of calories, number of flavors, number of toppings, and the number of seats in their stores.
Please have your engineering team review the data table attached. Create a two-column table to show conversions of measurements in pounds and ounces. Please include a sheet with all calculations for conversions. Develop a procedure for determining the best frozen yogurt store and rank ordering them from “best to worst” based on the data. Write a letter to me explaining the rank ordering of existing local frozen yogurt stores. Include your team’s procedure for your problem solving and decision making process in your letter.
Things to consider about frozen yogurt stores:
Flavors – Different flavors have slightly different calories so that is why a range (number from least to greatest amount of calories) is given in the data.
Toppings – Various toppings are offered at stores including fruits, candy, chocolate, and flavored syrup.
Calories – Frozen yogurt has fewer calories than ice cream, which may be important to health conscious customers.
Seating – Even though some people prefer to take their frozen yogurt home, stores can get very crowded especially on hot days.
