The purpose of the role:

The purpose of the role is to assist in the provision of an efficient and effective food and beverage service to a high standard.

Main responsibilities: / % of time per year
1. / Assist and support the operation of a hospitality unit to enable a comprehensive food, beverage and accommodation service to be provided to a range of customers including staff and students. Ensure the highest quality of customer care to all customers. / 40%
2. / Responsible for the cleaning and care of all areas of work and the equipment. / 30%
3. / To be fully conversant with health and safety and food safety regulations, University and relevant external, policies, procedures and codes of practice. Also till and IT systems in operation within the department. / 20%
4. / Undertake training and development required for the post and in order to train team and enhance working skills and knowledge to meet and exceed customer expectations. / 10%
