Subject: Your Final Itinerary Needed

Dear AJPP Annual Meeting Attendees,

Our host for the AJPP annual workshop and meeting, David Ofori-Adjei, has asked that I request details of your itinerary: your arrival and departure dates and times as well as the name of the airline. Airport pickup will be arranged if we have your itineraries. There are official airport taxis but he would prefer pickup. We will need the information by 5 April.

Abraham: I didn't have the email addresses of the two other EJHS attendees. Would you email them asking for their itineraries?

Tekle Ferede Metaferia

Eyuel Gesese Wolderufael

John: I don't have the email address for one of the other MJZ attendees. Would you email them asking for their itineraries?

Pauline Fara

Aiah: I have not received the name of the IT person who will be coming to the AJPP workshop. If you intend to invite someone please let us know this coming week.

Pascal: If you are plan to attend the AJPP annual meeting in Accra on 25 - 26 April, please let me know this coming week.

David also has provided the following information concerning your visit to Ghana:

Venue for the meeting: Ghana College of Physicians & Surgeons, 54 Independence Avenue (near Ridge Roundabout), Ridge, Accra

Accommodation: Ghana College of Physicians & Surgeons (operated by Orchid Hospitality Management Services (OHMS), www.ohmsghana.com Telephone +233 30 225 7623 plus more numbers at their website. Accommodation includes breakfast.

Arrangement has been made through OHMS for additional rooms at a nearby hotel (Central Hotel) but the main address should be that of OHMS. Central Hotel is about 15 minutes from the College walking distance. A shuttle has, however, been arranged. All AJPP meeting participants will be accommodated at the College (OHMS).

Airport is the Kotoka International Airport – direct flight from the US is from NY by Delta (daily flights); arrives about mid-day

All major European airlines have daily flights to Accra (usually arriving in the evening/night).

Flights from Africa are usually by Ethiopian, Kenya Airways and South African Airways; there are also regional airlines

Visas: I hope every one has received their invitation/introduction letters. I have no information on Ian Potters. Arrangements are being made for the Malawi team to collect their visas at the airport on arrival.

The Currency of Ghana is the Ghana Cedi (GHS) which may be easily converted to any of the major currencies. There are several banks in the vicinity of the College.

Weather: It is hot at the moment 32-34 degrees Centigrade. Usually we do not have rain in April. Rooms are all air conditioned.

Water for drinking: Bottled water recommended.

Language: English is the official language and spoken and understood by most people.
Again, please send me your itineraries by 5 April. If you need further information please contact me.
