SENIOR LEAGUE
ORDER OF PLAY 2017/2018

Ø The majority of matches will be played at our CENTRAL VENUE LEAGUE, however where teams neighbour each other these matches may be played at “home” on or before the date stated.
Ø Matches are to keep strictly to time, 15 mins each quarter, strictly 2 mins at each quarter break. Umpires MUST control the timings with precision.
Ø Court fees for “home matches” should be split 50/50 unless otherwise agreed. The first named team is classed as “home team” and should arrange the fixture. Central venue court fees will be invoiced.
Ø Umpiring – the first two matches at Deans will umpire each other and the other three matches will umpire their matches so – 9.20am teams will umpire the 10.40am match; the 10.40am teams will umpire the 9.20am match; the 12 noon teams will umpire the 1.20pm match; the 1.20pm teams will umpire the 2.40pm match and the 2.40pm match will umpire the 12 noon match. Teams should provide their own umpires for home matches but where home games are between two teams from the same club at least one “neutral” umpire should be sourced. All umpires should be C award or above.

Ø Results should be text to: Sue Kemp 07811 037147 immediately after the match by BOTH teams.
Ø Fully completed score sheets should be put in the envelope in the admin box at the sports centre – the first named team on the first match should collect the box from the sports centre reception and the team mentioned first on the last game of the day should post the envelope that same day and return the admin box to the reception.
Ø “Home” match score sheets must be received within one week from both teams & sent to:

Ø Times listed are match start times – warm ups can take place on the area at the side of the inside court, 20 minutes before each match but (NO BALLS PERMITTED IN WARM UP AREA)
