Database Developer (SalesForce),
Due to an internal promotion an exciting opportunity has arisen for a SalesForce Database Developer to join a global digital publishing company. Reporting to the Head of SFDC Support and Development, you should possess strong SQL database development skills, and ideally be SalesForce ADM201 certified. As a SalesForce Database Developer, you will take ownership of all data-driven and security processes that underpin the successful operation of SFDC within our business; undertaking multiple interdisciplinary projects ranging from small-scale maintenance to impactful projects, as well as supporting existing SalesForce functionality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Supporting the Head of CRM Support & Development to implement a scalable SalesForce platform
· Use of the most appropriate programming language or SalesForce function, and develop and maintain appropriate documentation
· Capable of Identifying SFDC security or structural data problems and crafting technical analysis, and propositions to address.
· Responsible for resolving all support queries and projects that relate to systematic data and security issues
· The translation of requirements into technical specifications and design pertaining to the SalesForce database or data architecture.
· Ensuring that the data and database architecture of the SFDC platform are responsive to the changing needs of the business.
· Maintenance of the necessary levels of accreditation to be authorised to perform system admin tasks on IBI’s SFDC implementation
SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Proven experience of functioning as a Database Administrator for SalesForce.com for Unlimited editions (preferably at mid to large, multi-dimensional organization)
· SQL development experience is required. Apex, and Visualforce, experience is advantageous but not essential
· SalesForce ADM201 accreditation is highly desirable
· Proficiency with Salesforce configuration including creation of standard and custom objects and fields etc.
· Good understanding of data structures, data modeling, db schema is required.
· Experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation and load (ETL) tools. (SSIS experience highly desirable)
· Experience in Agile development methodology/Scrum is preferred
· Strong communication skills
· Strong analytical skills with ability to learn quickly
