  • Veronica provided background and overview of her employment history in homeless services in NYC

Discussion of Data Work Group and Current GoalsVeronica Neville

  • What role does the work group want to play in the CoC?
  • What does the community want us to accomplish? What are the needs?
  • Direction and purpose for HMIS users
  • Data sharing and integration
  • Making sure the elected officials get the correct number-have consistency on what is released to the press
  • Strengths of Work Group-“Weekly Data Reports”
  • ICC “Over Use” Collaborative Meeting in May 22nd-need to integrate HMIS and ICC data, possible County Jail data
  • Vella Karman has previously completed a preliminary project about integration of HMIS and ICC data for school project comparing universal data elements-could possibly be helpful
  • High Risk Patient Meeting (Kim Dear)-
  • Case Conferencing based on high risk/high usage patients
  • Substance use is a protected class-if in rehabilitation
  • Review Central Health Form with group-Kameron has electronic copy
  • Beacon in San Diego-sharing system for Health Care and Homeless Services
  • Would it be helpful to review the data on a regular basis?
  • Interested in additional demographics (age, frequency)
  • Use APR data assessment
  • Burden of data entry on program staff
  • Data that identifies the need (for funding
