Kirk Durbin – Concerns about athletic participation fees and tobacco use policy.
Valerie Hughes – Drug Education Program – Tyler’s Light
6. Treasurer's Report and Recommendations
a.Monthly Financial Report (See Addendum)
b.Payment of Invoices (See Addendum)
c.Change Funds: $1,700 from the Athletic Fund and $100 from the Cafeteria Fund for their respective change funds for the 2017/2018 school year.
d.Fund to Fund Transfer of Inactive Funds to the General Fund for the following:
Fund 009 – Uniform School Supplies - $6904.56
Fund 200-9016 Class of 2016 - $327.89
e.Accept a $1000 donation from National Wild Turkey Federation Inc. and a $200 donation from Kokosing River Chapter NWTF for the Archery Program for 5th and 6th Graders. Matching funds required by Grant.

7. Executive Session to Discuss Compensation of Personnel
The Board went into Executive Session at this time.
8.Superintendent’s Reports and Recommendations
- Accept a letter of resignation from Ian Klein, H.S. Health and P.E. Teacher and Head Wrestling Coach.
- Approve the following volunteersfor the 2017/2018 school year:
Adam Addair – Varsity Football
Jeff Hart – Varsity Football
Cal Honabarger – Varsity Football
Keaton Leppla – Varsity Football
Lee Lyons – Varsity Football
Lynn Lyons – Varsity Football
Kyle Shackle – Varsity Football
Josh Shuman – Varsity Football
Clement Strausbaugh – Varsity Football
- Approve moving B.J. Addair to Masters Level +30 on the approved salary schedule effective 2017/2018 school year as she has completed the necessary requirements.
- Approve health insurance rates effective 7-1-17. No increase to employees.
- Approve a transportation service contract with Knox Area Transit (KAT) on an as needed basis for the 2017/2018 school year.
- Approve a Physical Therapy Contract with Cornerstone Pediatric Therapy LTD for the 2017/2018 school year.
- Approve Certified and Non-Certified Staff Handbooks for the 2017/2018 school year.
It is recommended the Board approve a – gat the recommendation of the Superintendent.

a. OSBA Capital Conference November 12-14, 2017 - Delegate and Alternate
b. Summer Work – LED lights, H.S. Roof, Auction, Pressbox

11. Late Items
a. Approve Katie Carr and Steven Butcher as summer Band Camp Assistants at
$45 per day.
b. Accept the bus bid from Edwin H. Davis for the purchase of one 78 passenger
conventional bus with the trade in of Bus #1 at a cost of $76,270.
c. Approve Carolyn Addair as Delegate to 2017 OSBA Capital Conference.
