Old Delhi Railway Police have sought public help in identifying the following bodies:-

1.  A female age about 45 year, height about 5’2” wheatish complexion, round face, and wearing suit pant found on 25.8.2012.

2.  A male age about 65 years, height 5’7” white complexion, long face, medium built and wearing white kurta and dhoti found on 28.8.2012.

3.  A male age about 45-50 years, height about 5’6” shallow complexion, round face, thin built and wearing khaki color shirt found on 30.8.2012.

4.  A male age about 40-45 years, height about 5’7” shallow complexion, long face, wearing white T-Shirt and blue pant found on 31.8.2012.

Ø  Inter-State Robber-cum-kidnappers belong to notorious Bholu gang involved in sensational case of kidnapping of an industrialist of Ghaziabad, UP arrested.

Ø  A reward of Rs. 5000/- was announced by UP Police on their arrest.

Ø  Involved in more than 10 cases of highway truck robbery.

Ø  An industrialist was kidnapped for ransom in August 2012 from Ghaziabad, UP.

Ø  Three country made pistols with six live cartridges and one motorcycle recovered.

A team of officers of Special Unit, Crime Branch led by Inspr. Sunil Kumar and consisting of SI Ravinder Teotia, SI N.S. Rana, SI Ravinder Verma, HC Dinesh Kumar, HC Ajay Kumar, HC Ieed Mohd. HC Ravinder Baliyan, HC Vikram, HC Dharmender, Ct. Surender, Ct. Sajjad Ali, Ct. Kusum Pal, Ct. Udai, Ct. Manoj, Ct. Aslup and Ct. Rakesh under the supervision of ACP Sh. Udai Vir Singh Rathi and overall supervision of Sh. Bhisham Singh, Addl. DCP/Crime have apprehended three notorious interstate kidnappers/highway robbers namely (1) Sunil aged 21 years s/o Bir Singh r/o Vill. Joya, PS Bhojpur, Distt. Ghaziabad, UP; (2) Manoj aged 23 years s/o Bir Singh r/o Vill. Joya, PS Bhojpur, Distt. Ghaziabad, UP and (3) Bittoo @ Victor aged 22 years s/o Harpal Singh r/o Vill. Joya, PS Bhojpur, Distt. Ghaziabad, UP who are actively involved in truck/car robberies in NCR region. Three country made pistols with six live cartridges and one motorcycle were recovered from their possession.

INCIDENT AND OPERATION:

On 03.08.12 one industrialist namely Punit Aggarwal r/o Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad was abducted for ransom on gun point from the area of PS Kavi Nagar, Ghaziabad,UP. A case vide FIR No 779/12 u/s 364 A IPC was registered at PS Kavi Nagar. Sensing the gravity of the case various teams of UP police were constituted to nab the criminals. It was also revealed that the abductors were demanding heavy amount for the safe release of the victim and were making ransom calls from various locations to mislead the police. The abductors were careful enough and were constantly changing their location. They kept on negotiating with the victim family and later agreed to release for agreed amount. On 16.08.12, victim was released after taking the ransom amount. During investigation, it was revealed that Arvind @ Ravinder @ Bholu gang was behind this crime. UP police was constantly trailing this gang and also declared a reward of Rs. 5,000/- on each gang members.

Special Unit of Crime Branch was having few leads about Arvind @ Ravinder @ Bholu gang. Two active members of this gang were recently arrested by Crime Branch on 26.07.12. HC Ravinder Baliyan and Ct. Rakesh Tomar were constantly watching the moves of this gang. On 04.09.12, a specific information was received that three members of this gang would come near ISBT Anand Vihar for committing some crime and they would be carrying illegal weapon. On this information, a trap was laid. At about 6.40 PM, three persons came there on a motorcycle and at the instance of the informer, they were apprehended. They were identified as Sunil, Manoj and Bittoo, all resident of Ghaziabad, UP. Three country made pistols with six live cartridges were recovered from their possession.

INTERROGATION:

They were subjected to intensive interrogation and it was revealed that in the last week of July 2012, this gang had planned to kidnap an industrialist r/o Ghaziabad. Their associate Harender r/o Vill. Tibda, Bulandshahar UP, who had worked as security guard in the factory of victim provided the tip of as he was well aware of daily routine of the victim. This gang carefully studied the activities of victim and on 03.08.12, they kidnapped the victim near his factory in the area of PS Kavi Nagar, Ghaziabad, UP. The victim was kept in the sugarcane field of accused Ganesh in the area of Village Dayanandpur, PS Simbholi, UP. They had used the telephone of victim for making ransom calls. The victim could only get out from the clutches of this gang after paying the ransom.

Further, it was also revealed on 19.08.12, a trap was laid by SOG, Distt. Hapur near Allahpur, Babugarh to nab the gang members of Arvind @ Ravinder @ Bholu gang. At about 10 pm, the police staff intercepted a white Scorpio in which 6 members of this gang were travelling. After a brief encounter, two persons namely Sonu r/o Vill. Joya and Pankaj r/o Vill Badhoda were apprehended whereas the gang leader and other members managed to escape from the spot. A case vide FIR No. 220/12 u/s 147/148/149/307 IPC was registered at PS Babugarh, Distt Hapur (UP). Besides this, the accused persons were also found involved in more than 10 cases of highway truck robberies and carjacking of NCR. Concerned police stations have been informed about their arrest.

PROFILE:

Accused Sunil came in contact with Arvind @ Ravinder @ Bholu r/o Kazipura, Ghaziabad about two years back who is a notorious highway truck robber. To earn quick money, he joined his gang and had committed more than 20 highway truck robberies in NCR Region.

Accused Manoj is real a brother of accused Sunil. He is presently working as a truck driver. He assisted this gang in the kidnapping of Punit Aggarwal. His wife Poonam and mother Omwati were also arrested by UP police in this case.

Accused Bitto @ Victor is a school dropout and belongs to a farmer family. His father expired about 2 years back. He was known to Sunil and Manoj, being the resident of same village. He along with Sunil came in contact with Arvind @ Ravinder @ Bholu about two years back and joined his gang. He had committed several car/truck robberies.

Ø  ONE PERSON INVOLVED IN TRAFFICKING OF HEROIN ARRESTED.

Ø  500 GMS OF FINE QUALITY HEROIN SEIZED.

Ø  PRICE OF HEROIN IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET APPROXIMATELY RS. 50 LAKHS.

A team of officers of the Crime Branch led by Inspr. Vivek Pathak consisting of SI Sunil Jain, HC Om Parkash, HC Mukesh, HC Rohtash Kumar, HC Yogesh Kumar and Const. Rajender Kumar under the supervision of ACP Narcotics Sh. Bir Singh and overall supervision of Sh. Bhisham Singh, Addl. DCP, Crime Branch has apprehended one person involved in trafficking of drugs and has recovered 500 Gms of fine quality Heroin. The Heroin recovered is worth Rs. 50 Lakhs (Approximately) in the International Market.

Information was received on 04.09.2012 by SI Sunil Jain that two persons namely Zakir and Taufiq, both residents of District J.P. Nagar, UP, are indulging in sale and supply of Heroin in the area of Delhi after procuring the same from Bareilly, UP. They would be coming near Foot over Bridge, opposite Akshardham Metro Station, Delhi in the afternoon to deliver a consignment of Heroin to his contact. Acting upon this information, a trap was laid around Foot over Bridge. At about 11:50 AM, one person later identified as Mohammad Zakir aged 35 years s/o Sh. Istkhar Husain r/o Village Rampur Ghana, PS Razzab Pur, District Jyotiba Phule Nagar, Uttar Pradesh was apprehended and on his search, 500 Gms. of fine quality Heroin was recovered. Subsequently, a case vide FIR No. 221/12 under appropriate sections of NDPS Act was registered at PS Crime Branch.

He was subjected to intensive interrogation in which he disclosed that the financial condition of his family is poor. He is working as a polish-man in a brass factory in Muradabad, UP. About Nine months ago, he met one Mehmood r/o Bareilly, UP who used to visit Village Rampur Ghana to deliver consignment of Heroin to one Sadab. He got attracted towards his dealings due to easy money. Meanwhile, Sadab was arrested in a case of NDPS Act in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. Thereafter, Zakir started procuring Heroin from Mehmood and started selling “Purias” in his village. On 04.09.2012 he had came to Delhi to deliver a consignment of 500 Gms. Heroin to his contact but he was arrested.

Further investigation of the case is in progress.

Ø  ONE FOREIGN NATIONAL INVOLVED IN TRAFFICKING OF KETAMINE (A PARTY DRUG) ARRESTED.

Ø  8 KGs OF FINE QUALITY KETAMINE SEIZED.

Ø  PRICE OF KETAMINE IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET IS APPROXIMATELY RS. 80 LAKHS

A team of officers of the Crime Branch led by Insp. Vivek Pathak consisting of SI Sunil Jain, HC Om Parkash, HC Mukesh, HC Rajesh, HC Yogesh, Ct. Kheta Ram under the supervision of ACP Narcotics Shri Bir Singh and overall supervision of Addl. DCP/Crime Shri Bhisham Singh have apprehended a foreign national namely Bregand Oliver aged 31 years s/o Michelle Bregand r/o Quartier Brette 26400 Chabrillan, France involved in trafficking of drugs and have recovered 8 Kgs. of fine quality Ketamine (a party drug). The Ketamine recovered is worth Rs. 80 lakhs in the International Market.

INFORMATION & OPERATION

Information was received on 05.09.12 by SI Sunil Jain that a foreign national namely Bregand, staying somewhere in Paharganj, Delhi is involved in smuggling of huge quantity of Ketamine from Delhi to some foreign country through courier, would be coming in Nabi Karim area via Sheela Cinema at some courier agency in the afternoon. Acting upon this information, a trap was laid by the police team and at about 2.30 PM, one person namely Bregand was apprehended. 8 Kgs. of fine quality Ketamine kept in corrugated box in a traveller bag recovered from his possession. Subsequently, a case vide FIR No. 223/12 under the appropriate sections of NDPS Act have been registered at PS Crime Branch.

Due to rising illicit use of Ketamine as a “Party Drugs”, a special notification was issued by Govt. of India in Feb. 2011 and now Ketamine is also covered as Psychotropic substance under NDPS Act apart from Drugs and Cosmetics Act. Ketamine is popularly known as ‘K’ or ‘Kat’. Ketamine can be taken orally or by injecting or by snuffing but the snuffing gives the long lasting effects. After consuming Ketamine, one is less likely to feel pain and could sustain injury or harm to himself as it is used as veterinary anaesthesia. If Ketamine is repeatedly taken in large doses, it can induce unconsciousness and failure of the cardiovascular system, leading to death.

INTERROGATION

Accused Bregand was subjected to intensive interrogation in which he disclosed that his parents are in the business of selling chicken in the local market of France. After completing his graduation in Agricultural Studies, he joined his family business of selling chicken. He first came to India in June 2010 on tourist visa and stayed here for 2 months. He again came to India as tourist in 2011 and visited Goa where he came in contact with drug addicts and started consuming KETAMINE (a party drug). Bregand came from Goa to Delhi where he met with an Indian drug trafficker namely Nagender @ Raja and started taking dose of Ketamine for himself as well as supplying the same to the groups of foreigner addicts. Thereafter, Bregand went back to his country and planned to make huge money by exporting Ketamine from India to foreign countries. This time he came to India on multiple visa in july 2012 and stayed in a hotel at Paharganj. On the day of his arrest, he brought huge quantity of Ketamine to export through courier but he was caught red handed by the alert cops.

Further efforts are being made to nab the source of supply and unearth the people who are associated with Bregand in this illicit trade.

With the arrest of a thief cum house maid namely Poonam @ Pooja (Aged-20yrs) r/o Virender Ka Makan WZ 799/2, Mohalla Badiyal , Near Shiv Mandir, Palam Village, New Delhi, Police Station Dwarka North, South-West District has solved three cases of house theft in no time and stolen jewellery worth two lakh rupees has also been recovered..

GIST OF CASE

Seetraj s/o Rajaram Agarwal r/o flat No.2103, Shivani Apptt. Plot No.18, Sec.12, Dwarka reported that he has been working as Pilot in Air India. In the morning of 2/9/12, he had requirement of a housemaid, so guard was asked to send any housemaid. After some time two housemaids were sent, one having dark complexion started working with his wife in kitchen and other having fair complexion started cleaning floor in the room. After work, duo left his house. When the house of owner entered in the room, to his dismay noticed that the lock of a wooden almirah installed in the room, was broken, he gathered his wits and society’s guard was instructed to stop the housemaids. Guard succeeded in stopping one housemaid while other managed to flee from the society. Police was also informed. Police reached at the spot and got recovered the stolen jewellery from the possession of the house maid. Upon this a case FIR No. 202/12 U/s 380/411/34 IPC was registered at Police station Dwarka-North and investigation was taken up in right earnest.
