BRIEF FACTS :

Complainant Sh. Anuj Gandhi s/o Late Sh. S.K Gandhi r/o H. No. 154, Munirka Enclave, ND visited PS Vasant Vihar and reported that he is a businessman of Export Garments. He read a pamphlet of Anupam Maid Bureau, specialist in Maid, Aya and Child Care Nurse in many newspapers. On 12.10.12, he contacted the given mobile numbers and one Ganesh introduced himself as owner of the Agency and promised for providing fully trained Baby Care Aya against the annual commission of Rs. 18,000/- and a monthly salary of Rs. 2,500/- per month to the maid. Since the complainant was in dire need of an Aya for caring his twin kids, he agreed to pay the same.

On 14.10.12 at about 12.00 PM, a person namely Pankaj along with a lady baby care aya reached at the house of the complainant. He showed the maid to the complainant and made rosy promises that the maid would be very handy for household work/baby care work. The alleged Pankaj received Rs. 8,000/- as per the commission amount and gave him a proper receipt and an agreement form of Anupam Maid Bureau. The complainant took the girl to his in-laws house at Noida as his wife and children were there for the time being. The maid behaved normally and after completing the household work went to sleep. In the early morning, the complainant’s wife informed her husband that the maid had run away from the house. She had searched her in the vicinity but did not find her. After that the complainant rang up in the Placement Bureau and the owner Ganesh promised her to send her back soon. However, the complainant didn’t get any replacement or the hard earned money back. Later on, accused did not respond and switched off his mobile phones. Then, the complainant realized that he was hoodwinked by an organized racket who duped him of hard earned money worth Rs. 8000/-. Accordingly, he reported the matter to PS Vasant Vihar.
