Present Position /  Research director, Water Research Institute (IRSA) of the Italian National Research Council, since 1975;
 Head, Thematic area of water resources management of IRSA.
Key qualifications /  Coordinator, National Project CRISIS of the Civil Protection Department on contamination of surface water bodies used for drinking supply;
 Coordinator, National Research Project on “Critical aspects of water availability for drinking purposes”;
 Responsable, Operative Unit of the National Group for Hydrogeological Hazards Defense dealing with “Risk assessment of groundwater and intervention techniques”.
Research project leader dealing with /  Risk assessment of groundwater from priority pollutants;
