Cub Scout Summer Programme
Tuesday 14th April- Games evening, introduce new members to the pack and sort out 6's.

Tuesday 21st, 28th April, 5th, 12th, 19th May
Promise Challenge Badge - Over these 5 weeks we will be:
1) Helping other cubs during activities
2) Do a good turn for someone outside of the pack
3) Describe a challenging situation and how they dealt with it
4) Run a pack game
5) Hold the my faith badge
6) Taking part in the St George's Parade also ticks off one of the requirements.

Tuesday 26th May - Half term no cubs.
Tuesday 2nd June - Discuss what a disability is and the different types. Try to think of a famous person with a disability.
Tuesday 9th June - Deaf Awareness - learn how to approachsomeone with a hearing problem and how to speak to someone who lip reads.
Tuesday 16th June - Sight Awareness - learn how to identify their names in Braille.
Friday 19th June - District Cub Sports Day. E-mail to follow about this event
Tuesday 23rd June - Physical Disability Awareness -walk around local area look at public buildings and amenities discussany problem that a person with a disability might face. Please dress for the weather as we can't use the hall this week. The reason for this is a fund raisingBeer Festival is being held in the hall on the 26th and 27th and it will take a few days to set up.
Friday 26th and Saturday 27th June - Beer FestFund Raiser. If interested please see Tony orposter for information and tickets. Obviously it goes without saying children are not allowed at this event.
Tuesday30thJune - Go carting on the green. Cubs need to weara long sleeved top and long trousers to take part in this activity those who turn up in shorts and t-shirts will have to sit and watch.

Saturday11th July Kub Kart Wars - District Cub Carting Races at St Margaret's Fair more info to follow.

Summer camp is on the 22nd to the 29th of August and is at Paxmead, which is a Girl Guide centre near Sunbury Lock. This year is our'wet' camp so quite a bit of boating is on the program with other scouting activities. If interested please see Tony for form and further information.
