This is the brief you are given prior to carrying out your examination
On attending the scene I was briefed by 32423 Sgt Jones of Greater Manchester Police that about 0430 hrs
that day information had been received from a member of the public that lights had been seen and shouts
heard from a disused office building in the station. This was deemed unusual and officers were sent.
On arriving at the scene officers forced entry by pushing open the brioken front door and once inside
found the body of an adult male who appeared to be dead. A large pool of apparent blood had formed
next to and under his head and torso. The body was face down with the right arm under the torso.
Paramedics confirmed death at 0512 hrs (3234 Johnson and 6754 Stevens, GM NHS Ambulance Service)
the scene was then cleared and secured awaiting the arrivalof CSI.
