Christmas in Central Geelong Evaluation
- JR presented the Christmas in Central Geelong 2014 evaluation to Committee including recommendations for 2015.
Recommendation:
- That the Central Geelong Marketing Committee notes this CGM Christmas in Central Geelong Evaluation Report and its recommendations for the 2015 Christmas in Central Geelong promotion.

Action:
- EO to arrange letter to Myer CEO seeking further support for window activation in 2015.
- EO revisit options for pedestrian traffic number collection with Central Geelong Action Plan Taskforce.
- Special Rate Process
- Current special rate term ends 30 June 2013.
- JR explained special rate process including recommendation for consideration by council, consultation requirements and key dates.
- Committee discussed various options including continuation of current boundaries and options for additional funding for specific projects.
- SKB requested an update on the progress of the Central Geelong Action Plan.
- EO to identify specific projects that may require additional funding and present to Committee members for review.
Recommendation:
That the Central Geelong Marketing Committee requests Council to consider a further term of the Central Geelong Special Rate.

EO to prepare email detailing funding schedule options for consideration by Committee.
EO to commence process for Council to consider the Special Rate Scheme.
EO to request update on the Central Geelong Action Plan at future meeting.
