Introduction to Engineering Design CTE65 NashuaHigh School

Course Contract and Portfolio Checklist

All participants in the IED course are required to keep a portfolio of exercises, activities, and projects as assigned by the instructor during the semester. Your instructor will check off the portfolio, and its contents, for completeness during the semester. The list that follows is a guide to what you need to complete for the course. Use it as a guide to meeting the course content.

The portfolio you create MUST include the following:

  • Cover Page
  • Table of Contents
  • Problem Statement
  • Design Brief (as required )
  • Hand sketches (as required)
  • Inventor 8 Drawings (ISO’s and Ortho’s – again as required)
  • Concluding remarks
  • Any additional deliverables as required in the task assigned

I, (please type your name in the shaded block) agree to fulfill and comply with the requirements as set forth by PLTW and Mr. Paradise for the IED course offered at NashuaHigh School. By agreeing to successfully meeting these guidelines set forth in this document, you will be awarded high school credit or high school and college credit (if you also chose the Project Running Start option). If you choose the High school credit option, you will be awarded credit towards your GPA based on the grade you earn in this class.

Please print out this form and sign on the line below. Please turn in the signed form ASAP. The checklist should become part of your course portfolio of work.
