The 1:1 Discussion Process
The 1:1 conversation with your reviewer is at the heart of the process. The focus of the1:1 is about you and your job, what is going well and what, with the help/support of your manager/supervisor, could be improved. There will be an opportunity to ask about training and development opportunities that may help you to perform your job better. The 1:1 is a great opportunity to share ideas on how systems and processes in the workplace can be improved.
On the reverse of this letter is the competency framework thatProfessional Services introduced in 2008. The aim of the competencies are to develop a highly trained, well-motivated workforce with the mix of skills and experience required to deliver the core strategic aims of the University. You will already be familiar with the competencies having attended the reviewee workshop. However, please take the time to read the statements,as these will be discussed during your meeting
