CMS, INC. SUBCONTRACTOR'S AMPLIFIED AGREEMENT

MSC – Summer rehab 2009 – Preston Square, Cambridge Square, Ashtree Apts/Towns

As an amplification to the work generally described in Paragraph 1 of this Subcontract Agreement, the Subcontractor shall perform the work as described though not exclusively specified as,Painting .

  1. Submittals: Provide all submittals, shop drawings and samples required for materials used in the execution of the Work of this Subcontract Agreement. Indicate by transmittal that copy of instructions has been distributed to the installer.
  2. The Contractor agrees to allow debris materials under this agreement to be placed in a Contractor supplied dumpster for disposal. Each Subcontractor is responsible for debris removal generated from their work. If conditions exist that require CMS, Inc. to remove and or clean-up debris generated by this agreement the Subcontractor will be responsible for a back charge of Fifty and no cent dollars ($50.00) per hour for trash removal with a minimum charge of four hours for each occurrence. All work areas are to be placed in a broom cleancondition on a DAILY basis and when Work is completed.
  3. No claim as to the unsuitability or unavailability of any material specified or any detail indicated on the plans, whether or not fully detailed, or willingness to use same or inability to produce first class work with same, has been made by Subcontractor prior to the signing of this agreement No such claim will be made by the Subcontractor after signing of this agreement. Any material or detail found not in compliance shall be rectified at the Subcontractors expense. Any handling / removal of hazardous or toxic material areexcluded, except for hazardous or toxic material introduced to the Project by the Subcontractor.
  4. The project has strict dress code, code of conduct and working hours. The dress code requires shirt, shoes, pants, hard hat and ID badge at all times (ID badges provided by CMS). The code of conduct requires no hollering, yelling of curse words or loitering at pool areas. Smoking, eating and drinking in the units is not permitted. The work hours are Monday thru Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm and no loud noise until after 8:00am.
  5. Parking is an issue, CMS will designate approved parking areas, anyone parking in a reserved space is subject to be towed with no notice.
  6. The sub-contract agreement includes 1) all supervision, permits, layout and coordination with other trades, and the following scope:
  • Prep all surfaces to receive paint including sanding and caulking as required
  • Paint all existing and new walls and ceilings as required.
  • Paint all doors and trim as required.
  • Paint al MDO shelving and column wraps as required.
  • Paint accent walls where shown on the drawings.
  • Protect all finished surfaces including hardware,countertops,fixtures,etc..
  • Clean all work at completion.
