congatec AG appoints Christian Eder as Sales and Marketing Manager EMEA
Deggendorf, January 26, 2010 * * * congatec AG, a leading supplier of embedded computer modules, has announced that Christian Eder will be taking on the position of Sales Manager EMEA with immediate effect, as well as continuing to function as Marketing Manager. In this new position Christian Eder reports directly to the Sales Director Worldwide.
Christian Eder is one of the 13 former Jumptec employees who founded the company in 2005. Since then he has been responsible for congatec AG’s worldwide marketing.
Eder started his professional career in 1990 as Product Manager with Kontron GmbH after studying telecommunication engineering at Regensburg Polytechnic. Before the formation of congatec, he held a range of international marketing functions with Force Computers, Jumptec AG and Kontron AG.
Christian Eder’s main focus in the sales area will be directed at the further development of congatec’s successful multi-channel sales strategy, which encompasses both partner and direct sales. “In 2010 we will above all be concentrating on new, expanding markets. Our extensive range of computer modules enables a considerable amount of new application possibilities, for instance in the medical, digital signage and gaming sectors. Supported by congatec’s experienced sales team, this year we will be consolidating and expanding our market position.”
