Target Audience
This program has been designed for physicians, physician assistants, QI professionals, professional nurses, advanced practice nurses, and administratorsin the medical specialties of internal medicine, cardiology, surgery, cardiovascular surgery.
Series Educational Objectives
After completing this activity, participants should be able to:
- Review and benchmark cardiovascular data to set goals and review quality of care
- Improve coordination and translate new knowledge into practice to improve the quality of care of all cardiovascular patients
- Identify and decrease adverse events through ongoing peer review and process improvement in cardiovascular care
Accreditation
Physicians: The Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Nurses: The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Department of Nursing Education, Innovation and Professional Development is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the PA State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
