Residential category – UK citizen or EU national or Settled in the UK (if you cannot give these answers you must ask for advice immediately).

The fee code is usually 02. Underneath put Redbridge, Barking, Newham etc from the drop down menu which must match area of residence.

Nominated access = if you know you will not be in the UK when the results come out you can name a relative to negotiate Clearing or accept a place for you. If you might need to use Clearing it is advisable to be present personally.

It is essential that you choose your course to match your predicted grades. You need to research to make sure you are happy with the course content, location of campus, length of course and whether you will be living at home.

Personal statement box – Under no circumstances type here because it is not a word processor. Only copy and paste from a Word document (Font Arial Size 12)

Education – You attend ‘Loxford School of Science and Technology’ and the centre number is 13329. If you took some exams at a previous school you will need to add this as well. Put down your dates from when you first joined the school not just Sixth form.

Personal statement. Quality is essential. Your tutor will guide you through the completion process and you will copy and paste it onto the form. You are the only person with access to your form so we have to ask you to make changes.

When all the sections are marked complete you will be able to ‘Send to referee’. You will no longer be able to change the form – it can be sent back to you if you ask. The form then comes to Sixth form staff for checking – you may receive an email to correct errors. When the form is perfect and the reference is added the whole form has to be approved by senior staff and then sent to UCAS. The fee of £23 for five choices will be an on-line payment.

Mrs Wells will be dealing with the administration side of your application.
