Brief Description of Capabilities – AdapTech Corporation (dba Adaptive Technology) was founded in 1991, specializing in test equipment and shipboard electronic system repair and calibration. AdapTech Corporation (CAGE 1VTY4) is 100% veteran-owned and is a certified small and disadvantaged business. All functional divisions of AdapTech consist of a staff of approximately 80 people providing a variety of Calibration and Repair services to the U.S. Navy, U. S. Coast Guard, Military Sealift Command and USMC. These personnel provide Engineering services, Type III calibration laboratory support, and repair services of electronic, physical, and mechanical test equipment and shipboard systems.

Insure that all power to switchboards, power panels, controllers or other equipment that is to be worked on is secured and tagged out in accordance with the latest version of the MSC Tag Out Program. Isolate gauges, meters and thermometers designated for calibration. Clear gauge lines of obstructions by blowing clean dry air through the lines. Adjust and calibrate/recalibrate gauges, meters and thermometers to a transfer measurement standard, traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1.
All gauges, meters or thermometers repaired or replaced shall be calibrated, IAW ANSI/NSCL Z540-1-1994. Repairs carried out to the designated gauges, meters and thermometers shall be accomplished to return the designated gauges, meters and thermometers to their original manufacturer's specifications. The instrument must perform within the manufacturer's original specifications for accuracy over the entire range for that instrument and affix a calibration label over the face (over the calibration screw, if so equipped) of the instrument successfully calibrated after repair or replacement. Provide the Contracting Officer, PPE, and CHENG a report, in writing, listing the gauges, meters or thermometers repaired or replaced with the instrument manufacturer, model and serial number, date of repair or replacement, calibration date and specific location on the ship. / Patrick D.
