The Drafting Team (DT) did not receive any comments on the version 4 posting of this standard but was required to revise the standard because it was remanded back to the DTby the Planning Committee. The remand was required so that the appropriate NERC Time Horizons and Violation Severity Levels (VSLs) could be added to Requirements and Compliance sections of the standard.

This standard is a conversion of the generator technical protection settings that have been developed, compiled and studied over several years and are currently in place at the FRCC, by their inclusion in the FRCC Handbook. The existing FRCC handbook document “FRCC Generator Coordination Requirements” is being converted into an FRCC Regional Reliability Standard with the required format and sections.
