Make sure each person in attendance has a copy of the packet of handouts at the beginning of the class. And before you begin, someone should introduce you and edify you. The intro needs to be good enough that the people in the class are thinking, “Wow, I’m glad I came. We’re lucky to get to learn from this person.”

PART 1 – ASK A QUESTION (5 minutes)

“What are your health goals? What are the things you want to learn about today?”

PART 2 – WELCOME, EXPLAIN THE 5 HANDOUTS, YOUR STORY, COMPANY STORY (5-10 minutes)

“Welcome you guys! Thank you so much for coming. I know you’re busy and there are lots of other things you could be doing with your time, so thank you for sacrificing some of that time to be with us tonight.”

FIRST HANDOUT

"I want to show you what you have in your hand right now. So, this first handout… It’s basically just essential oil information. I like you to have this because not everyone has the essential oils book where you can look up which oils will support which health concerns. So, if you look through this handout you can see that you can look up different health challenges to get ideas about which oils to use for which ones… Now you'll notice that this sheet will only have some of the minor challenges that you might be dealing with. And the reason that is, is because there isn't enough room to put more on there. So, If you want to find more about the more serious, major challenges that you might want to learn more about, like ____(list a few here)______, you'll need to look in a more comprehensive essential oils book. There are books you can use that have the health challenges listed for you and it tells you exactly which essential oils to use with what you're trying to do to help your body. Even though this is just some of the health challenges, I like you to be able to look through it and maybe look things up while we’re going through the class."

SECOND HANDOUT

(Now you’ll Hold up the second sheet.) "This is simply a summary of what we’re going to cover in the class today. Sometimes it is hard to remember everything we talk about, so this one is for you to keep so you can follow along… and you can take it home… It will help you remember some of the things we talk about in the class today…

THIRD HANDOUT

(Hold up the price list.) “This third handout is the pricelist. There are two reasons I like to give you this handout. Number one, I can’t stand it when I go to a class… and they won't tell me the prices until the very end!" You'll notice there is a column here that shows the retail price… and one that shows the wholesale price… and a bunch of other columns. See how the wholesale price is in bold?".. That's the price you’re going to want to look at. because it’s the cheapest way to get the oils… This is how everyone buys it whether they want to be a consumer or a builder or whatever… so, that's the price you’ll want to look at.”

“The second reason I like you to have this handout is because, in my experience, what I have found… Is that… as we go through the class… there are certain health challenges… or oils we talk about,that you'll find you’re wanting to know more about. So, what I want you to do is just keep track of those on this list… I know it’s kind of tiny… But just make a little note… and then at the end of the class… then we’re going to go around to help answer your questions individually… and We'll be able to help you with it. So just use it as kind of a wish list."

“Now, you’ll notice that you can buy the oils individually, or you can buy them in kits. And, as you would expect… when you buy the kit… you get a better price… So, when you show me your list of oils at the end… I can look at your list… and I know what essential oils are in which kits… And that helps me to help you… get the oils you’re wanting… for the cheapest possible price… so, it just helps me to help you… at the end.

PART 3 – WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS & THE QUALITY – (5 minutes)

WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS

(Explain how they come from plants, there are several compounds in each oil that work with our bodies, and include whatever has struck you about the oils.)

“There are a lot of oils online… but you can’t always be sure of the quality of the oil or if they’re the real thing. We’ve had people who have bought dōTERRA oils online… and when they receive the bottle… the oil has been replaced with olive oil or water… or sometimes the seller will empty it halfway out… and fill the rest with olive oil or coconut oil… When you purchase the oils the way we’ll show you today…. not only do you get to earn free product… you also know there’s no middle man. It’s coming straight from dōTERRA so you don’t have to worry about what you’re getting… plus… you get all of your shipping dollars…. Saved up as free product credits on your account… If you do find dōTERRA oils online that are selling for less than you see on the price list you have… you’ll know they’re either not the real oil, or they’re involved in fraud. PART 4 – 3 WAYS TO USE & WHICH OILS FOR WHICH HEALTH CHALLENGES (20-30 minutes)

3 WAYS TO USE

“There are 3 ways you can use the essential oils. Topically, right on the skin, internally and aromatically.” (Now tell them a little bit about each of the 3 ways and give them some examples of how they would use it that way. Any time you mention an oil, pass it around.)

Things you can talk about:

TOPICALLY:

 “Most essential oils you can apply right on your skin, which is called neat, right on the area you feel like you could use extra support.”

 “If your skin is more sensitive you can use what’s called a carrier oil. Just apply a few drops of coconut oil with a few drops of the essential oil you’re using.”

 “A great place to apply is the bottoms of the feet. The research shows that the oils absorb into your body and within 30 seconds it has begun to circulate through your blood stream.”

 “There are a few oils that are considered ‘hot’ which simply means that if you apply them straight to your skin by themselves, they can start to feel hot and uncomfortable.” There are only 2 that you need to remember. One is Oregano and the second is the ‘Cinnamon Family’ which is Cinnamon, Cassia and Clove.”

 “If you get the oils in your eye or you’ve applied an oil that is hot or sensitive for your skin, DON’T WASH IT OFF WITH WATER. Because water and oil repel each other, the water will push the oil deeper into your skin and make it worse. Simply grab your coconut oil, or olive oil and rub a few drops right into your eye, or the area that is bothering you. It works great.”

AROMATICALLY:

 “You can use a diffuser.” (Explain what to do and how that works)

 “You can put a few drops of the oil on your pillow at night.”

 “You can hold the bottle right up to your nose and breathe it in.”

 “You can rub some oils into the palms of your hands and breathe in deeply.” (It’s great to have them do this with a drop of Peppermint and Wild Orange. Pass them around and have everyone try it.)

INTERNALLY:

 “Sometimes I like to drip a few drops of oil right into my mouth, either down my throat or under my tongue.”

 “You can put a few drops in a glass of water.”

 “You can buy empty gel caps at any health food store. They are just like a pill that you could take, except they’re empty. You pull them apart, drip whatever oils in that you want to take, put it back together and then swallow it like any normal pill. I like to do it this way when I’m going to be out in public and I don’t want to be smelling like the oils.”

WHICH OILS FOR WHICH HEALTH CHALLENGES

(Turn this section into an OIL PARTY!!! Pass the oils around, show them how to apply them, have fun with it.

ADDRESS ANY QUESTIONS THEY HAD AT THE BEGINNING OF THE CLASS

TELL THEM ABOUT 5 EXTRA OILS & LLV

(Make sure you share info about more than just the oils in the kit you may be teaching the class around, and make sure you talk about the Lifelong Vitality Pack, or LLV, as we call it)

Part five of the class is THE CLOSE… this should take about 10 minutes and you’ll learn how to do that in the 3rd bonus video of this section…. I’m giving you a whole separate video for that … because in the close… you are handling so many of the ‘REASONS THEY DON’T BUY’… that I think it’s important enough to give it it’s own video…. But basically… in the close…You’ll need to create solutions for them… and show them the easiest way to get the oils they want…….. plus… you’re going to mention the business… in a way that gets them intrigued… but not turned off….. All in the How to close video…
