Citibankintroduces CitiPlanner - new client platform for investments

In the Czech Republic it is currently the only global platform enabling a composition of an individual investment portfolio for a client

PRAGUE–As of November 2011 Citibank’s clients can use a new client investment platform CitiPlanner that globally unites Citibank’s approach to investment banking for retail clients. CitiPlanner is based on the principles of an open architecture, enabling to create client’s portfolio composed from a wide offer of investment products.

“We believe that besides an understandable way of investment portfolio offer, our clients will also appreciate the complex investment consultancy that is based on Citibank’s long-term and global experience in the area of investments,” says Petr Řehák, Retail Bank Head at Citibank. “CitiPlanner offers 48 basic investment portfolios including the opportunity of their expansion in compliance with client’s risk profile, personal goals and selected investment strategy.”

So called “top-pick” funds are a part of each portfolio, represented by the best funds in the given asset class in basic portfolio. All these funds have passed through a selection process within Citibank.

“CitiPlanner offers the most suitable composition of investment portfolio to all types of clients – from the very conservative ones to the ones accepting higher risks. Everything is based on client’s risk profile, i.e. readiness to risk, an investment horizon, investment goals and client’s knowledge and experience in the area of investments,” adds Petr Řehák.
