2009 Foal Purchase Agreement
Circle S Quarter Horses has sold the following AQHA 2009Foal:

The purchase price for the above mentioned horse is $______.00. It is understood that any amounts paid at the time of pickup are to be paid in cash only. Otherwise paypal, personal checks, and money orders/cashiers checks are accepted with time to clear the bank.
By signing this agreement the above listed purchaser agrees to the following:
1. A deposit of at least $200.00 is due upon signing on this contract. All monies paid are non-refundable.
2. A payment of at least $50.00 is due by the 15th of each month. If needed, a different due date can be set by the seller and purchaser as long as a payment is received at least once every 30 days. If a payment is not received at this time, all monies paid will be forfeited and foal will be put back up for sale. Balance of amount is due at the time of pick-up.
3. Sales price includes board through the foals first 4 months and 2 weeks of life, AQHA registration papers(not the application), daily wormer, free-choice feed and hay. Price does not include coggins, health papers, brand inspection, insurance, transportation, vet exam, or any vaccines other than tetanus(which is given at birth).
4. If you can not have your foal picked up either by you or a transporter by the time the foal is 4 months and 2 weeks old, then we will charge you $5 per day or $35.00 per week to care for your foal until you can get it picked up. Boarding fees are due weekly. Payments can be made during this extended time as long as you pay off the balance and all boarding amounts in full at the time of pick-up.
5. Purchase price does not include halter breaking. If you bring a halter and lead at the time of pickup, we will put it on the foal for you before we load it on your trailer. If you would like to have your foal started under halter at the time of pickup it will be an additional $200.00.
6. Close judgment will be exercised in the care and supervision of the foal while it is here at Circle S. They will be treated with the same consideration as one that would be kept her permanently. However, foals will seldominjure themselves from the time between birth up until they are picked up by their new owner. These injuries may include but are not limited to: leg injuries, eye injuries, umbilical hernias, scratches,scuffs, and abrasions. Circle S will not be held liable for these injuries. If a foal is injured seriously while here, the purchaser will be notified immediately to discuss the best course of action to take regarding medical attention for the foal.If the injury is not serious, it will be treated by Circle S as they see fit. Most injuries should heal in time. Circle S will not be held liable for these injuries and it is understood by both parties that the above horse is being sold as is at the time of pickup.
7. Foals will be freeze branded with a Circle S on their right hip before they leave our property.
8. The new owner will choose the 6 name choices to be sent to AQHA. I will check them online before sending the application in but can not guarantee the first name choice will be picked by AQHA. Any name choices sent to me should be considered suitable names for your foal. Also, the faster the name choices are given to me, the sooner that I will have the papers back from AQHA. If the new owner waits too long to get me the names, then I will not have the papers in hand at time of pick-up. They will be mailed out to the owner as soon as I receive them back from AQHA. All registration papers are guaranteed.
