PURPOSE OF JOB / ·  To support the strategic and operational aims of the Marketing Team
·  To develop and maintain appropriate systems and procedures to enable the Marketing Team to function professionally at all times.
·  To provide effective and efficient administrative support to the Marketing Team to enable the delivery of a professional Marketing Support Service.

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR POST OF:- Admin Assistant (Marketing)

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

All duties and responsibilities should be carried out in accordance with agreed Council policy and procedures, in particular the Council policies on Equal Opportunities and Health and Safety and also, within the framework of the Education Act 1996, Children Act 1989 and the Data Protection Act 1998.

1.  Work with the Marketing Team to compile management information reports based on the retrieval of monitoring information to assist meeting marketing objectives

2.  To evaluate evidence and information in relation to marketing and development needs

3.  To organise and manage the attendance at events and conferences by using databases and mail merges and produce evaluation reports

4.  To undertake general admin duties for the Marketing Team, including filing, mail merges, photocopying, printing, collation and distribution of relevant newsletters/information.

5.  To monitor completion of qualitative and quantitative reports on the achievement of providers against targets outlined within the Service Level Agreements

6.  To support the implementation of Marketing Plans throughout all childcare sectors

7.  To support the development of systems to monitor the effectiveness of Marketing

8.  To assess Marketing Plans and prepare reports for the Marketing Team to enable work to be prioritised

9.  To maintain the systems and procedures supporting the marketing function and produce reports on the impact of implementation

10. To develop and maintain appropriate systems and procedures to enable the Marketing Team to function professionally at all times

11. To develop and maintain budget monitoring systems and procedures to enable the Marketing Team to function professionally at all times

12. To develop and maintain templates to support collaborative working practices with both internal and external partners

13. To support the development of new services that arise from time to time within the area of responsibility for the Marketing Team

14. To provide administrative support to the marketing team and attend relevant meetings as identified

  1. To help develop, maintain and enhance new systems required for the monitoring and evaluation of all identified projects.
  1. To undertake training and continuous personal development identified as relevant to the post.
  1. To ensure confidentiality of all information under Sheffield City Council’s Code of Conduct.
  1. To work collaboratively and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of effective working relationships with colleagues in the EYECS and other organisations.

19.  To undertake any other duties as appropriate to the grade and purpose of the post as may be required after negotiation between management, the post holder and appropriate Trades Unions.
