Checklist for minimum requirements on personal PC or MAC for access to Student Plans

Answer with a Y or N – if any of these are N or you are not sure please contact your technical support staff or call the Student Plans Helpdesk – (651) 286-8947

PC with Windows 8 or later operating system? / MAC with OS preferably v. 10.4+ ?
Click Start, Control Panel, doubleclick System

Internet Explorer v 10 or greater? / Internet Explorer, N/A
In Internet Explorer, Click Help, About Internet Explorer.
It is recommended to upgrade IE 10,IE 11 or Edge / If no, call your school district helpdesk to get updates
Firefox at least v 22.0 ? / Firefox at least v 22.0 ?
In Firefox, click Help, About Firefox / If no, call your school district helpdesk to get updates
Adobe Reader 11 or EasyPDF3 or greater? / Do PDFs open correctly in Student Plans?
On PC, click Start, All Programs. Look for Adobe Reader. / If no, call Student Plans Helpdesk or your school district helpdesk to get updates
Is Internet Cache at a minimum of 12MB? / Is Internet Cache at a minimum of 12MB?
In Internet Explorer: click Tools, Internet Options, click Settings button in Browsing History. Minimum is 8 MB. This is not a requirement for Student Plans but your browsing will be quicker.
/ In Firefox, click preferences, Advanced tab, Network.
This is not a requirement for Student Plans but your browsing will be quicker. Click clear now to clean out the cache.
Sometimes if cache gets full it prevents PDFs from opening.

On the PC, click the middle box in the upper right corner to maximize
