Entry fee INCLUDES:

Transportation of bikes from Cardiff to our cycle start point in Holland, back to Cardiff when the challenge is complete.

Travel from Cardiff to Bristol Airport.

Flight from Bristol Airport to Amsterdam, with 1 piece of hold luggage per person.

Travel to our first stopover hotel, from Schipol Airport.

4 nights’ accommodation (staying in Noordwijk, Schiedam, Burgh Haamstede and Brugge).

Breakfast each morning, snacks refreshments during the cycle days, & at least 2 evening meals.

Travel to Cardiff from Brugge, by coach, including ferry crossing.

Medical mechanical assistance during the trip.

Experienced cycle guides.

Entry fee DOES NOT INCLUDE:

Personal insurance: in order to participate in overseas event you MUST carry personal insurance. We also advise specifically insuring your bike as 54321 Cymru cannot be held responsible for damage or theft.

European Health Insurance: we strongly recommend carrying an EHIC card.

2 evening meals (to be confirmed).

Drinks with evening meals.

Provisional Itinerary:

Friday 22nd May

Depart Cardiff and travel by coach to Bristol Airport for our flight to Schipol, Amsterdam. Travel by coach to our first overnight stay.

Saturday 23rd May (Day 1 of cycling)

Our first day of cycling! We will ride approx. 60 miles to Gorinchem, for our second stopover.

Sunday 24th May (Day 2 of cycling)

Following a good night’s sleep we continue on for another 60 miles to Burgh Haamstede, to the Duin Hotel. This will be the third year we have stayed at this hotel – a favourite of ours!

Monday 25th May (Day 3 of cycling)

We are now on the final stage of our journey, riding approx. 60 miles to our destination of Brugge where we will celebrate the end of our Challenge!

Tuesday 26th May

Travel home by coach to Cardiff from Brugge.

Our Charities:

For Luca has been set up to provide Luca with the best prosthetic legs available for his future. In 2011 Luca lost both his legs to meningococcal septicaemia. The disease ravaged every part of his body in hours and left him fighting for his life. For Luca are raising funds to cover the lifetime costs of specialist prosthetics not available on the NHS, giving Luca every chance to excel in every aspect of his future.

St. David’s Hospiceprovides and continues todevelop a free and comprehensive palliative care service of excellence throughout the authorities of Newport, Caerphilly, Torfaen and Monmouthshire for people, their families and carers, facing a progressive life-threatening illness which is no longer curable.
