The purpose of assessing programs is to develop and implement strategies that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of your unit or college/school. The strategies for improvement stem directly from the assessment results (this is commonly referred to as “closing the loop” on assessment). All units need to respond to items 1 and 2 listed below in order to show evidence of “closing the loop” from assessment cycle to assessment cycle. Items 3 and 4 are optional, but provide an opportunity to add information that units may deem important for their team and outside readers.

  1. List all improvement strategies from last year’s use of results that were implemented in 2015-2016 to show how your unit or college/school closed the loop from one year to the next.
