KENYAN EVENING in Prague

Dana Feminová (Director of the Centerum Narovinu) and Lenka Čapková (administrative arrangement of the Long Distance Adoption) have returned from their business trip. They had very busy program, for example, they had visited some schools, where children from the program Long Distance Adoption are, organized a seminar with local coordinators of the adoptions and their teams, met with partner schools, on Rusinga Island in the community center Island of Hope organized a seminar for teachers and for children photography workshop ... Dana Feminová also had dealt with the final details before opening a new high school. The first students begin studying just today.

During the evening you can look forward to new photos and videos, but also for arresting narration and discussion. The evening will be made by Kenyan coffee and tea, which you will then be able to buy, along with other gifts from our fair shop (soapstone goods, jewelry, gift packages and certificates). Fair shop supports precisely the children from the community center Island of Hope in Kenya.

Centrum Narovinuis a charitable society, which was founded in 1995. The main activity of the Centrum Narovinu currently represents projects of the international development cooperation, global development education and development of volunteer work. We are cooperating in the campaign Czech against poverty. Development projects in Kenya are organized since 2000. All projects are conducted with great emphasis on long-term sustainability, promotion of self-sufficiency and the transition from passive to active approach in taking responsibility.
