Fees: $30 per class, $10 for additional divisions, $30 office fee for each horse/rider team. To encourage entry of multiple shows, he office fee will be reduced to $25 for the 2nd show entered and $15 for the 3rd show entered. There is no drug fee, non-member fee or bridle tag deposit. Post entries will be accepted with management approval and a $25 late fee. There will be a $15 fee for all changes made after the close date. There will be a $40 fee for checks that do not clear the bank.
Entries: Use the RMDS entry form. A copy of your RMDS horse/rider/owner card must be enclosed for scores to count in qualifying for RMDS Championships and for year-end awards. To compete as an *amateur, you must include a copy of your 2008 USEF amateur card. Enclose a negative Coggins test drawn in 2008. Make your check payable to “Centaur Rising”.
Refunds: If you cancel before the closing date, all fees will be refunded with the exception of the office fee. After the closing date, class fees will be refunded only if the ride(s) can be filled. During the competition day, no refund of any kind will be made for any reason. The office fee is never refundable. Refunds for stabling after the closing date will be made only if the stall is filled. There will be no refunds for acts of nature beyond management control.
Times: Unofficial times will be posted on our website (see the Events page) on the Friday before each show. Please re-check the official times after you get to the show. Ride times will not be mailed. Results will be posted at the same place after the show.
Awards: Ribbons will be awarded to sixth place for each division. Ribbons for the highest score in each division will be awarded for each show as well as for the cumulative series of three shows.
Parking: Please note that parking on the grounds is very limited. It may be necessary for you to park your trailer or other vehicle off grounds. You may need to drop your horse and tack off for a day or overnight stall and be directed to park off grounds. Shuttle service will be provided. Crossties will be available for grooming. Volunteers will be available to assist you. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Stabling: Permanent stalls will be available for $30 overnight, $25 for the entire day, no charge for less than three hours. Bedding will be provided.
Directions: From the junction of C-470 and 285 in SW metro Denver, drive 20 miles into the mountains on Highway 285. Go through Aspen Park and Conifer. Continue 1/4 mile past the trout ponds at Shaffers Crossing. Turn right on Parker Avenue. Drive 1/2 mile. Anchorage Farm is on the left. Links to MapQuest can be found on each page of our website. Arenas: The show will be held in a 20x60m outdoor arena. The warm-up arena will be in a 50’x120’ indoor arena. Footing is organic material and sand. The show will be held in a beautiful mountain setting, cool with little wind, great scenery!
Lodging: Overnight lodging is available on the grounds: Please call the show manager at for availability and reservations. (Disregard the online availability calendar since all rooms have been reserved for the show.)
Food: Food will be available on the grounds. Vet/Farrier: On call numbers will be posted in the show office. Medic: Mark Miller, RN Dogs: No dogs on grounds. Management reserves the right to make changes, combine classes or refuse any entry.
