Applications for students with a current IEP or 504 must include their accommodations
Night School Policies:
- Students must be enrolled at their home school and taking courses in order to participate in night school
- Accepted students and parents must attend the mandatory meeting
- Night school is for credit recovery only, initial credit cannot be granted
- Students may earn up to one credit each minimester in night school
- A separate application must be submitted for each minimester the student plans to attend
- Students who accumulate 3 unexcused absences will be withdrawn from the program
- EOCs will only be administered during minimesters 2 and 4
- Enrollment is not guaranteed based solely on submission of application
- Students are prioritized based on graduation status and will be contacted if they are accepted into the program
- Late applications will not be accepted!
- Due to the structure of the program, special education accommodations and modifications are limited
- Night school is Monday through Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, students must be picked up promptly at 8:00 PM (authorities may be contacted if students are not picked up on time)
- Students who are not picked up on time will be withdrawn from night school on the second offense
- The Cobb County dress code and behavior policies apply to night school
- No food or drink should be consumed during night school
