Meeting Minutes

OLD BUSINESS

  1. Capital Campaign Committee Replacement

Suggestions include:

  • Kirk Schuh – willing to be resource; can’t commit
  • Doris & Steve Schuh – Doris going to talk to Steve; boys?
  • Maggie Talbot
  • Carol Berg
  • Kendilyn Brockman

Chad can be tiebreaker vote.

ACTION: Renee to contact Kendilyn. Need Father Walter to call suggestions?

  1. Kiel Visit

Denise is out of town until after Easter. She is willing to address our questions via email or Skype.

ACTION: Barb to send email to Denise with this question: What were top 5 issues from parishioners and how did they address them?

  1. Pledge Tracking

We can track pledges using ParishSoft, the parish software. Resurrection Parish used this software for their campaign. Capital Campaign will solicit the donations and pledges. We will NOT follow-up with payments.

ACTION: Brad to request documentation regarding Pledges in ParishSoft. Brad will contact Deb at Resurrection for their process. Brad to follow-up with Cortney regarding who will collect/follow-up on pledges after they are made.

  1. Grant & Foundations Update

Possible list of donors and foundations able to fund religious organization sent to Karen & Michelle Huss.

ACTION: Renee to send list of foundations to Capital Campaign committee to review. Karen to meet with Michelle and identify cycle dates for each.

  1. Playground Update

Location in Kaukauna is keeping their playground; that option is off the table. Submission to Burke Software sweepstakes made.

  1. Clock Tower & Trim Painting

This has been removed from the scope of the overall project. Donation covers cost. Awaiting one more bid.

ACTION: Brad to follow-up with Cortney regarding possibility of balance of painting donation to roll to expansion project/window restoration. Follow-up: No funds expected to be leftover.

  1. Cash Flow Analysis

Advancing the Mission Capital Campaign: plan was to request $1500 per family. Committee members (Capital & Building) need to commit to their donation level, to be ready for the “Did you give?” question.

ACTION: Renee to reach out to Diocesan contacts for April 15 meeting

  • Naming Rights – Naming Rights War: Playground, Gym, Fellowship Hall
  • Labor Donations – meet with Building Committee about combining local tradesmen.
  • Be sure to include “In Memory of”, “In Honor of”
