Our Simple Cremation Service Package
$2226.35(HST included)
We have packaged all of the items you will need to make this an easy decision to use our services. This package includes our professional staff and service fee, documentation, transfer from place of death within 50km, basic cremation container (Eternite #101),transfer to crematorium, and the following disbursements: municipal death registrationfee, coroner’s fee and cremation fee (Evergreen Crematorium). We provide you with Proofs of Death to help you settle estate matters and the CPP Death Benefit and Survivor’s Pension forms if required. Cremated Remains are delivered back to you in a cardboard container suitable for burial, scattering or storage. There are no surprise charges.
Not included in the package price are other disbursements such as Newspaper Notices (charged at cost from the newspaper of your choice).

Explanation of Services for a Direct Cremation Service:
Professional & Staff ServicesProfessional consultation with licensed personnel, including but not limited to, expert advice on options to meet your needs. / $415
Documentation
Completion and filing of all documents necessary to carry out the services and supplies requested, including, but not limited to, death registration, burial permit and coroner’s certificate for cremation.
Provision of 10 Proofs of Death (Our proofs of death are usually accepted for most estate settlement purposes, but sometimes a provincial “Death Certificate” will be necessary and is available from the Office of the Registrar General.) / $190

Refundable Deposit for Cremated Remains $350
When human remains are to be cremated, a refundable deposit will be required to be paid. If the cremated remains are not claimed within one year of the cremation, the deposit may be used to inter the cremated remains in common ground. If the cremated remains are claimed before they are interred, the deposit will be refunded.

Payment and funding options
Payment
Unless otherwise specified, payment in full is expected at the time of arrangements by cheque, cash ordebit/credit card (Visa or MasterCard). We do not accept American Express.Payment plans are also available to meet most budgets. Financing charges apply to payment plans. Beyond the allotted time, interest will be charged at a rate of 1.5% per month, which is equivalent to 18% per annum (APR).
Funding
For your convenience, we offer the option of prepaying services and supplies. When prepaying, you pay for the services and supplies today and the money will be used to pay for the services and supplies when they are delivered at the time of death. You may pay the money directly to us and we will place it in trust, where it will accrue interest until the contract is fulfilled (when the services and supplies are delivered) or the contract is cancelled.
