Update from Deeanna included prevention/enforcement funding needed, potential legal purchase age raise with discussion about ensuring it penalizes the store and not the individual, and other support efforts. Discussion on gaining support from the community versus just support from providers. APNC will be creating an infographic by Spring Conference and reaching out to Collegiate Recovery Coalitions about ways to help.
Tabled for later, seems that date change creates more conflict.
SUD Fed Web Site and Communications Committee
- Committee includes: Deeanna, Troy, Ron, and Rachel Middlesteadt
- Survey suggested to gather what we want in website.
- Reach out to Emmy for website/admin support.
- Tasks to think about: Review website, make suggestions for improvements, think about more global communication goals.
- Committee includes: Kurtis (Chair), Angie, Dale, Ron, and Rob
- Tasks to think about: What would we like to see in terms of membership? Take those decisions and match bylaws and align both with our purpose. Will eventually change to just a membership committee.

- Other subcommittees reorganizing as well
- Officers discussing the need for a chair elect (MI and IDD already represented)- if interested, contact Robin
- Too much money. Currently creating a new budget to use it or potentially differ dues
- Discussion on bringing Rally back and need to advocate in a ‘new way’

- Great conference in September.
- Major project starting with state for better enrollment, considering pros/cons of electronic health record process to prevent duel enrollment

- Feb 19 New Hire- Cody Kinsley, Deputy Director
- Rachel Johnson will be moving into the Coordinator of Children with Complex Needs state position
