Medical Student Rotation and Housing Information

APARTMENT:
- Fully furnished 2-bedroom apartment with 2 full baths
- Two twin beds in each bedroom
- Bed linens, towels and pillows provided
- Washer/Dryer
- Dish detergent and laundry detergent provided
- Dishwasher [please check switch to make sure it is “on” before making a repair call]
- Dishes, pots, pans, etc. provided
- Weekly cleaning service (Friday)
- Wireless Internet Access [AHEC wireless internet Network: AHEC Password: 932169599E]
- No pets permitted
- No smoking inside the apartment
Please take care of dirty dishes and pick up clothes and other belongings prior to Friday morning cleaning. Please take trash out regularly. The dumpster is located to the right as you exit the stairwell. Also, report any problems with the cleaning service to me immediately. Light bulbs and shower liners are stored in the laundry room. Please let me know if there is another need for the apartment.

INCLEMENT WEATHER:
In case of inclement weather, please dial 704-436-3103 to verify that clinics are operating on a normal schedule.
APARTMENT MANAGER:
- Frank Alley is the Apartment Manager. His telephone number is 704-782-3707. His office is located in the building next to the pool.
- Should you have any problems in the apartment requiring maintenance, please call me at 704-721-2064. I will contact Mr. Alley. If a problem occurs in the evening or on a weekend, please contact Maintenance at 704-782-3707.
MAIL:
- Should you need to receive mail during your rotation, please have it sent C/O Michelle Kennerly@ Cabarrus Family Medicine Residency, 270 Copperfield Boulevard, Suite 201, Concord, NC 28025.
DEPARTURE:
- Remove any perishable food from the refrigerator and wash all dishes prior to departure.
- The following items are required to be turned in on the last day of your rotation (between the hours of 8:30am – 5:00pm):
- Apartment key and/or Sports Center ID
- ID badge
- Rotation Evaluations
- Essentials of Family Medicine book
- Laptop (if applicable)
Failure to turn in the above items on the last day of your rotation will result in a delinquent evaluation.
