The meeting was called to order by Peter Scholz at 8:02pm.

Fruit Sale-We should start earlier next year. Better clarification of shipping and pickup dates should be made.

Scrip/Gift Card program-Antares

–So far 6 families have participated. $3462.00 sold.

–Presto pay must be set up before purchasing gift cards. Allow several days for bank to verify set up.

Concert Attire: Lauryn Eisenhower

–Return of concert attire after performance went well. We should be training students in the future how everything should be hung before returning to make it go smoother.

New Business:

We will be forming a Briar Woods chapter of the Tri-M musical honor society.

Students from all entities of Band, Winterguard, Falconnaires, Drumline will be eligible.

We will begin the organization process for start up in the 2012-2013 season.

The Booster club as been asked to contribute to the cost of a scrolling message board in front of the school. Message board is for pertinent school events, band events would be included. The request was for $900.00.

$750.00 was suggested as a contribution.

Motion to contribute 750.00 was made. Motion seconded and passed.
