Business Systems Executive

Are numbers, analytics and process management where you excel?

As a Business Systems Executive, your role will primarily focus on supporting multiple teams, primarily finance and sales, with accurate estimating, analytics, reporting and management for the circulation / distribution of magazines globally.

As our Business Systems Executive you'll undertake accurate and timely reviews of sales estimates against market data information and data received from outside parties. You'll provide quarterly reviews of sales efficiencies, specifically in the US, with a view to making recommendations on supply levels for approval by the relevant Sales Development Managers.

Working with the Finance Department you'll support with data reporting and in accordance with Company target margins and Publisher contracts you'll set and analyse local selling prices.

There will be distributor and freight forwarder queries to investigate and resolve, together with regular communication of reports, information and promotional briefs to overseas distributors.

Using our bespoke transactional systems, you will be responsible for order management and purchase orders.

Having developed excellent working relationships with both internal stakeholders and overseas distributors and freight forwarders, you will provide cover for the Business Systems Controller, attending meetings and liaising with Directors and senior managers across the business.

To deliver in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

·  Graduate standard with at least one year’s experience in a process driven role in a heavily commercial environment.

·  Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·  Confidence in using Excel spread sheets and PowerPoint.

·  Proven data analysis and data handling skills

·  Strong numerical skills

·  Able to manage own time, deal with ad hoc requests and still meet deadlines in a busy department
