Entries need to be input to Qld Carnival Manager.Nomination closes on 11 pm, Monday, 26 January 2015.

Clubs only need to nominate competitor in ‘Beach Sprint’ only, in Carnival Manager and will be allowed to compete in

other events on the day.

ENTRY FEE

There are no entry fees for this Junior (4 Point ) Carnivals.

LATE ENTRY

Forcompetitorsnot entered in thecarnival, the team manager must provide proof of competencyandacompletedlate entryslip withcompetitor’sfullname and agegroup. The slip needs to be fully completed and lodged at the Team Managers’ Meeting. There will be no late entry on the line.

CONDITIONSOFENTRY

Thiscarnival willbeconducted inaccordancewiththecurrent Edition oftheSurfSportsManualincluding

subsequent Bulletins.

Allcompetitorsmustbecurrent financialand proficient membersoftheirSurfLifeSavingClub.

Allcompetitorsarerequired towearhigh visibility vestsas pertheSLSQHigh Visibility ClothingPolicy:

Competing ClubsshallprovideOfficials and Water Safety personnel as outlined in the Team Manager’s Declaration.

ClubsmayappealadismissedprotesttotheAppealsCommittee.Afeeof$110.00perindividual/teammustbe lodged. If theappealis upheldthefeewill be returned. Iftheappealis dismissedthefeeis retainedby Wide Bay Capricorn Branch.

OFFICIALS

Officialswillbeappointedfromtheinformationsubmittedby clubswith the Team manager’s Declaration.Delaysinsubmittingthesenominationswillresult inrefereenot havingtheup todateinformation toset appointments.Clubsthat donot supplyenoughofficialsmaybeexcludedfromcompeting. The ratio of official to competitors will be as per outlined in Team Manager Declaration form.

ROSTEREDIRB DRIVERANDCREWONLYCOUNTASOFFICIALSIFTHEYAREACTINGASJUDGE IN BOATANDHOLD AN OFFICIALSACCREDITATION.

Ifnominated official/ watersafetypersonneldonot attend,yourclubmust replace them withanotherqualifiedperson.

IRB ANDWATERSAFETYREQUIREMENTS

Thehost clubwillprovide2 xqualified IRB crews(4intotal) and 2 x fully serviced and operational IRB.

WaterSafety personnelaretobeprovided by eachcompetingclub ( Min.4 ) and submittedwiththeTeam

Manager’sDeclaration.AllpersonnelmustarrivewiththeSLSAapproved watersafety uniformandrescuetube.

WaterSafety personnelaretobeprovided by competingClubson a rosterbasisasprovided by theCoordinator.

Failureby any Clubtoprovidewatersafety personnelasper therostermay excludethat Club fromcompeting.

TEAMMANAGERSDECLARATIONS

ATeamManagersDeclarationMUSTbecompleted by allClubsand sent totheBranch by 5pm Monday 26January 2015.Noclubswill beeligibletostartthecarnivalwithouta completedTeamManagersDeclaration. TheTeamManagersDeclaration islocated on theBranchwebsite: under What’s on.

 Clubsareallowed one(1) Club TeamManager,and one(1)AgeManager per agegroup.TeamManagerand AgeManagermustbe clearly identified as outlined in Item 11 of the Special Notice to Team Managers.Any changesofTeamManagerpersonnelmustbe reported toCarnival Refereeand acurrent bluecard mustbeproduced.NOBLUECARD,NOCHANGE.

  • Please ensure that the TOTAL numbers of competitors is listed on the Official form coming in, and appropriate Officials to Competitors ratio is met by the club.

RESULTS

Results will be recorded by hosting club for all age groups to:

reinforce newly learnt processes for new Officials

for circulation to Clubs for their records on completion of Carnival
