What is it BT Proud?

BT Proud is the way you think and act every day when you are at work.

BT Proud is derived from what you believe is important about work, that influences the way you speak to your customers and interact with your colleagues and managers.

These statements should guide your behaviours and help you do your best work. Identify and learn to use them to help you perform and therefore much more likely to be rewarded and recognised by Manpower as well by BT.

If you look around you will see a number of colleagues who are proud to be working at BT and demonstrate this in the way they work. Providing consistent excellent service at all times be it an emergency, enquiry or sales call.

BT is one of the longest standing companies in the UK and to continue this fine distinction it is vital to remember who we are and the impact we have when we deal with the general public right across the country.

BT Proud symbolises that even in the face of recent financial results and the economic downturn, you recognise the important part you play and the impact you have on your own success and the success of the BT business.

What does BT Proud mean to me?

Understand your performance metrics so that you can keep on track and achieve great results.

Provide a better service to your customers than our competitor’s; let’s not make it easy for them to match it.

Every minute counts, so keeping to your adherence really matters.

Every month we would like to recognise those advisors that have led the way in delivering excellence in their roles. By meeting all the Right First Time targets and having an excellent attendance record we will ensure that your success does not go unnoticed.

BT Proud Gold Awards

Every Quarter we will be looking to shine a spotlight on those advisors that have demonstrated the BT Proud values. If you have made a positive difference to a customers experience with BT we want to shout about it. If you have gone that extra mile to ensure that your team or centre has achieved its goals we want tell your story. Anyone is allowed to nominate someone for a Gold Award.
