Sir,
Kindly refer to BSNLEU, letter no. even dated 21-04-2018 regarding harassment to the District President, BSNLEU, Pathankot, by the Pathankot Management. It is learnt that succumbing to the pressure of our rival union, the Management is going to issue a fresh major chare-sheet to our District President, Pathankot. In addition to the points raised in union letter mentioned above, we would like to quote some other facts relating to this case.
1. Smt. Rajindra Kumari, TT, erstwhile TM, Gurdaspur, false complaints of sexual harassment against Rameshwar Dass, Rana, TT, Gurdaspur, to the Gurdaspur police, vide application No. 1584-Misc. dated 20-08-2011 and No. 2311-Misc. dated 29-08-2011. The case of fabricated sexual harassment against Com. Rameshwar Dass, Rana, TT,was dully, investigated by the Deputy Superintendent of police Gurdaspur, it was found fabricated hence closed. In the closure report, it has been clearly, mentioned that the case filed by Rajindra Kumari, TT, erstwhile TM, is false, frivolous, out of grudge and rivalry of trade unions.
2. Smt. Rajindra Kumari, approached the court of Sh. Amandeep Singh, PCS, honorable Judicial Magistrate1st Class vide IPC Complaint No 134 dated 08-09-2011, CIS No.Coml/00001608/2014. The honorable Court decided the case, on 06-06-2016 and acquitted Rameshwar Dass, Rana, TM, of all the charges.
3. It is worth mentioning here that Rameshwar Dass, Rana, TM, President, BSNLEU, Pathankot, is going to retire on his superannuation on 30-05-2018.
Circle Executive Committee meeting of BSNLEU, held on 23-04-2018 ,at Chandigarh has seriously reviewed the case and has directed the under signed to serve upon you a trade union action against the extreme harassment to the District President, by the management. It has also been decided to organise circle wise protest demonstration against the management on May 2nd 2018, and to further intensify the struggle if the management went a ahead in issuing the fresh charge-sheet.
We still hope that the management will review its decision and restrain, from issuing a fresh charge.
