ALL SCHOOL:

·  Fire and Ice Homecoming – Thanks to Student Congress and the moderators Mr. Agrast and Mrs. Jamieson for their hard work organizing Homecoming and making it a huge success. Congratulations to Clarke Wheeler and Tommy Loya the Homecoming Queen and King. Thanks also to students who attended the Homecoming dance this past weekend and the administrators and staff members who assisted!

·  Thanks to all who signed up for the Red Cross Blood Drive. October 20 is just around the corner, so it's time to prepare by eating lots of iron-rich foods! Meat, including poultry and seafood, is a great source of iron, but so are beans, dried fruits like raisins, and even peas! So tell your parents you HAVE to get Chipotle for dinner and load up on the meat and beans...it's your good deed for the week!(10/13)

·  Attention all Academic Decathlon members: Please stop by A 205 to see Mr. Crane and pick up study materials. If you have early release, stop by period 6. (10/11)

·  Key Club- Attention all Key Club Members, since there will be no school tomorrow, our next meeting will be next Wednesday, October 19. Also, for those who signed up for this month's PTA Babysitting, remember that it will be Thursday, October 13 at Rowland Elementary.(10/19)

·  Mock Trial will meet today after school in Room B111. All students who auditioned for the team should be in attendance for this meeting.(10/11)

·  Senior Spirit wear Hoodie Sale –Seniors, when we return to school on Thursday, Mrs. Sanford will have available in the principal’s office the order form for our 2017 hoodie! The hood will be a grey pullover with gold and brown lettering. Stop by on Thursday for your order form. (10/20)

·  NO SCHOOL this week on the following days:

o  Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 12th in observance of Yom Kippur (10/12)

o  Friday, October 14th, Professional Growth/Development Day for Staff.(10/14)

SPORTS

·  Boys Basketball will be holding an information meeting for those interested in trying out. The meeting is this Thursday after School in the PAC.(10/13)

·  Students and staff we have been nominated for Cleveland Browns Game of the Week. We need you to vote as many times as possible. You can find the link on twitter @brushathletics and in your email!(10/13)

·  Basketball season is right around the corner and so are Basketball Cheerleading tryouts! Monday October 24th, through Wednesday October 26th here at Brush in the East Gym. All those interested in trying out should see Miss Quigley in B04 for more information. (10/26)
