BREAKFAST FOR LEARNING VOUCHERS

Yesterday, nutrition programs in Ontario were sent notification and links to participate in the Grocery Foundation Breakfast for Learning Voucher Program! We are incredibly excited about this year’s program, as these vouchers will greatly benefit nutrition programs across the province. Below are details of the 3 offers currently available through the voucher program:
2 for 1 Voucher Program: For a limited time only, the voucher program is pleased to offer a 2-for-1 deal on all purchased vouchers for the 2010-2011 school year. For every booklet purchased, programs will be provided with a free booklet of the same product. This offer is open to all voucher program participants, and can significantly help stretch the program budget!
2-for-1 Voucher Program Order Form
New Nutrition Programs: Fora limited time only, the voucher program is pleased to offer up to $500 in free vouchers to nutrition programs participating in the voucher program for the very first time! If the nutrition program has never before received vouchers, and meets the criteria to participate, they can order up to $500 in vouchers with no cost to the program. This offer is only available to qualifying programs and can be used for the first order placed (please check the program qualifications to see if your program is eligible, located in Part I of the order form). All following orders should be placed using the 2-for-1 order form, available for download off the BFL website.
New Program Voucher Order Form
Full-Day Kindergarten Programs: For a limited time only, the voucher program is pleased to offer up to $500 in free vouchers to nutrition programs that now offer a full-day kindergarten program in their school!If the nutrition program takes place in a school with a full-day kindergarten, they can order up to $500 in vouchers with no cost to the program. This offer is only available to qualifying programs and can be used for the first order placed (please check the program qualifications to see if the program is eligible, located in Part I of the order form). All following orders should be placed using the 2-for-1 order form, available for download off the BFL website.
Full-Day Kindergarten Voucher Program Order Form
Each order form contains an information page, including a ‘Helpful Tips’ section, as well as a program qualification portion that they must complete (Part I on all order forms). It would be greatly appreciated if you could encourage the programs to read all of the information included on these order forms, as it will help to ensure they use the forms correctly. Please note that programs which may qualify as both a New Nutrition Program and as a Full-Day Kindergarten Program are only eligible to use one or the other (maximum of $500 in free vouchers available to these programs). To answer any additional questions, you will find attached to this email an FAQ sheet. This information will soon be available for download off the website. Please feel free to share with the programs as necessary.
Additionally sent out to all nutrition programs is information on The Grocery Foundation’s Breakfast for Learning Partnership Program for Capital Equipment. This exciting new offer is open to all Voucher Program participants and has been created to support programs that require new or replacement appliances for their nutrition program. For qualifying applicants, this opportunity can help programs obtain the equipment needed to support their school’s nutrition program. The deadline to apply is November 30, 2010.
