Box, Haselbury and Ditcheridge Rate & Valuation, 1628

A rate and valuation of every livinge in the parishes of Box, Haselbury and Ditcheridge agreed upon and made, and likewise consented unto, by us the inhabitants of the parishes aforesaid and whose names are under subscribed this 12th day of August 1628 for to remain in the Church coffer of the parish Church of Box, as also one copy indented therewith, with George Speke of Haselbury, Esq and those to be residents whereby to gather and collects what every man's part shall be proportionally to their livings for which they are liable, towards any payment that these parishes or livings or any of them shall or may be charged withall.
