TALENTGUIDELINES

1.TheTalentcontestisa district contest.Eligibleapplicantsmustcompletethe application,asexplainedinthe guidelines,and submitittothe CNHContest Archive for judging.At DistrictConvention2018distinguished contestwinnerswill be announced.

2.ReadtheTalent Auditionguidelines.

3.Fill outthe“TalentAwardEntryForm”.

4.E-mailtheentryformtothe CNHContestArchive ().Submissionsmustbereceived byWednesday, February 12th, 2018.

RULESGOVERNINGTHECNHKEYCLUBTALENTAUDITION

(1)AllparticipantsinanactmustbeofficialmembersofaKeyClubingoodstandingwiththeCalifornia-Nevada-Hawaii(CNH)KeyClubDistrictandKeyClubInternational.Inthecaseofagroupact,participantsmaybefromthesameclub,samedivision,or sameregion.

(2)A talentcontestentrymay take any formaslongasitisentertainingand ingoodtaste. Anyentries including profanity and/orotherinappropriate qualitieswillautomaticallybedisqualified.AllactsshouldshowcasethediversetalentsofthemembershipsinKeyClub.

(3)AllactsenteredintheTalent Awardwillberequiredtodemonstratetheirabilityandentertainmentappealinapreliminaryauditionvideo.At thistime,themostentertainingactswillbeselectedtoappearinoneoftheDistrictConventiongeneralsessions.

(4)Allactsarerequiredtosubmit anauditionvideoaccompaniedby theTalentAward EntryForm bymailor electronicallybythedeadline.

• Theauditionsubmissionmustbeanactivelinktoavideosharingwebsite(i.e.YouTube)submittedwiththecompletedTalentContestEntryForm.

(5)Selectionofactsbythejudgesat thepreliminaryauditions,insofarastheyareconsistentwithhigh qualityperformance,willbefinal.

• Selectedactswillbecontactedby theMemberRecognition CommitteeandwillbeannouncedontheCNHCyberKey.

(6)Allmaterials(props,instruments,costumes,etc.)that willbeusedintheperformancemustbeincludedintheauditionperformance.

(7)Anyalterationsto theperformancedifferingfromtheauditionperformancemayresultinNOT beingabletoperformat DistrictConvention.

(8)Anymaterials(props,instruments,costumes,etc.)thatareneededforeachperformancemustbesuppliedbythecontestantswhoparticipatein thatperformance.Apiano,microphones,musicstands,andchairswillbemadeavailable.

(9)Thetime limitofeachperformancemustnotexceedfive (5)minutes. Eachperformance needstobe one all-inclusive,fluidperformance devoided of anyawkwardbreaksortransitions.

(10)Judgingforthiscontestwillbebasedonthefollowingcriteriaandpoint values:

(11)Thedecisionsofthejudgesarefinal;nochanges,alterations,orre-judgingwilltakeplaceafterthejudgesandtheChairofMemberRecognition havecertifiedtheresults.
