A:If the asset is not on the sensitive property list and acquisition value is less than $5,000.00 a final event will be required. You will need a BOR package if the asset is missing. Contact your LOR to determine which Final Event Type to use.

A:Yes it is, 31-15 is the object class code for motor vehicles over the 200K threshold for capitalized property.

A: Select “Sunflower Enterprise Reports” Select “Management Reports” Select “Catalog Entries” Enter the FSC Group “70” and FSC Class “20” locate the correct Catalog Identifier (This information can be found on the Maintain Asset Detail screen)

Q:Why does the BOR findings not list specific criteria used in the determination?

A:There are numerous circumstances that adversely affect personal property, so limiting criteria in the determination process is not practical. Keep in mind that every line office may have a representative on the Board to ensure a fair process.

A:At a minimum, the Property Manager or Property Custodian should get a feedback either the day the Board convenes or the next working day after the Board convenes.

A:A Federal Agency cannot directly donate property to a state agency without going through GSA and the State Agency Surplus Property (SASP).

Q:what happens if you find an asset that has been retired but it is still in the office and listed in sunflower.

A:Send a request to your LOR to reactivate the asset and include pictures of the barcode number and serial number on the asset.

Q:Is GSA Axcess required now, or can I still excess via UNICOR?

A:GSAXcess is only used to report useable excess items that can be donated or transferred to other eligible recipients. UNICOR is one source you can use to dispose of excess scrap electronic items.

A:You need to submit a Document Level Adjustment (DLA) to correct the object class code on the PO. Once the DLA is approved, you must request a manual suppression.
